I want to record my lecture(s). Do you provide this service?

The TLC does not usually capture lectures, but Media Services does using Mediasite.  Mediasite is a lecture recording tool that captures both the audio and video of you lecturing, as well as the presentation on your laptop simultaneously.  These sessions are captured remotely in UA1140, UA1240, ERC1054, ERC1092, and the downtown Regent building. A portable unit is also available to capture sessions at any other location.  The Mediasite presentations encapsulate most  aspects of the lecture within  a single web page that can be viewed live or archived. Click on the link for an example of a previously recorded session: uoit.ca/mediasite

Mediasite has had positive feedback from students because it allows them to review lectures, or reference lectures they have missed.

If you are interested in creating Mediasite recordings, please contact Stuart Reid from Media Services.
